Our rooms are located in the most important building in a Viking settlement, the chieftain hall. The hall is not only the chieftain's dwelling, but also the place for gatherings and center of feasts and religious ceremonies. You can experience the mythical Viking Age in Rosala Viking Centre!
The bedroom Freke has bunk beds, and is suitable also for families. The room is named after Odin’s wolf. The room is available from 2.00 pm, but you are warmly welcome to explore the Viking village earlier. The reception is open according to the opening hours of the Viking Centre, for example in the summer until 6.00 pm.
Breadfast is included. We can take notice of most of food allergies at breakfast, as long as we get the information in advance. All food is low on lactose. You can write the diets on Additional information under Customer details at checkout.
When you are staying in the Viking village, we of course recommend a Viking Viking dinner as well. Please note that dinner must be booked in advance at the latest the same morning.
Viking Centre is located on the beautiful island of Rosala in the municipality of Kimitoön. You can reach the island from Kasnäs from Kasnäs by free ferry M/S Aurora. The Viking Centre is 5 km from the island’s ferry harbour. If you travel with your own boat, you can dock at one of the guest piers on Rosala island.
