A thousand years ago, Finland lived its Iron Age, the mythical Viking Age. You can experience an amazingly authentic time trip to this period in the Viking Village in Rosala, a visitor’s centre that materialises times past. The Viking Museum consists of not only informative exhibitions, but also an entire reconstructed Viking village, where you can invision yourself in the Viking Age. Play varpa, try on a Viking warriors outfit or relax in our café - the Viking Centre has something for all!
The entrance fee includes a guide map to the Viking village. The map is also your ticket to the area and valid the whole day, see our opening hours. We also recommend the short video presentation introducing the mythology of the Vikings.
